Copying and unpacking the installation files

Change your location into the installation files directory:

$ cd /home/kronodoc/pp2012/inst

Copy the installation archives to the /home/kronodoc/pp2012/inst directory. Files can be copied across different servers with the following command:

$ scp user@nas.example.com:/usr/kronodoc/2012/Kronodocdistr_linux_2012_2.tar.

Unpack the main Project Portal distribution file. Do not unpack the additional module distribution files.

$ tar xf Kronodocdistr_linux_2012_2.tar

After unpacking, the directory contains files similar to the following:

• installKronodoc – The Project Portal installation script.
• Kronodoc.tar.gz – The Project Portal application.
• apache.tar.gz – The Apache web server installation.
• 001OracleInterface.tar – The mandatory Oracle interface add-on.
• testKronoServerSetup – a script to test successful installation of Project Portal
